The Office of Public Information and Marketing is your link to university news and upcoming events. Our office is the source for general information regarding the university and the site for all official university news. The staff assists media by setting interviews and providing professional resources on current topics, and works with departments throughout campus to market the university and its programs.          

Two other departments work with us to provide updated information and quality publications. The Office of the Webmaster keeps the MSU website accurate and user-friendly with graphics and photos to show the beautiful campus. The Print Shop is responsible for many printing jobs but has also included other options such as poster-size prints which can be lamininated. 

TV2, which is located on the Time Warner Cable, is available 24 hours a day. It offers a variety of information for the public including Campus Watch, student-produced videos, and a PowerPoint presentation of future activities.

Our office is the central location for sending out campus-wide emails. This service provides our faculty, staff and students with information they need on a timely basis.

A university advertising campaign is designed and produced in our office that furthers our image to potential students, alumni, donors, and the local business community. It may include items such as billboards, publication ads, bookcovers for schools, signage, pole banners, and radio or television ads.

Our office is also responsible for producing the Sunwatcher magazine which is sent to 34,000 alumni, parents, donors, and other friends of the university. It is a 4-color publication distributed in September and March each year.

Midwestern State University is active in the Wichita Falls area and is supportive of many activities throughout the community. We play a vital role in the economy of the city and the quality of life our citizens enjoy.
